$30 billion in 2030

Network operators will generate more than $30 billion from cellular IoT (Internet of Things) connectivity globally in 2030.

This is significant growth—a 74% rise from $18 billion in 2025, according to Juniper Research.

But to capitalize on this growth, network operators will need to do a few things:

• Innovate how they monetize IoT connectivity
• Consider network APIs (application programming interfaces)
• Shift from monthly subscription charges to usage-based monetization
