Security 101 – Northern California announced the hiring of Jarrod Porter as enterprise sales executive, bringing nearly three decades of experience in low-voltage systems and a strong track record in delivering complex, integrated security solutions for enterprise clients.
Porter joins the team during a period of rapid growth, following Security 101 – Northern California’s recent debut at no. 75 on SDM Magazine’s 2025 Top Systems Integrators list.
“Jarrod’s unique ability to translate complex security needs into practical, scalable system designs is a tremendous asset to our current and future enterprise customers,” said Rob Chamberlin, president, Security 101 – Northern California. “He brings the rare combination of deep field knowledge and strategic business acumen, and we’re thrilled to welcome him as we continue expanding in the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento.”
Starting his career as a field technician, Porter developed a ground-up understanding of low voltage and security infrastructure. Over time, he transitioned into management, sales, and business development roles, earning recognition for his hands-on leadership and consultative approach with both end users and contracting partners.
At Security 101, Porter will enhance the company’s enterprise sales strategy, working with organizations to solve complex physical security challenges using tailored solutions that integrate video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and more.
“Security 101 has built a strong reputation for doing things the right way — smart engineering, consistent execution, and a real focus on the client,” said Porter. “I’m excited to join a team that shares my values and helps our customers achieve clarity and confidence in their security environments.”
